Thank you to everyone who visited our booth at DistribuTECH. We had some good traffic, and we welcomed the opportunity to speak more about the solutions Council Rock can offer. Overall, it was a fantastic way to network with others in the field.

Visit us at DistribuTECH in San Antonio

Council Rock will be at the annual DistribuTECH conference and exhibition. DistribuTECH is a vital conference for utilities to network and conduct business. Last year, 326 utilities providers and over 13,500 individuals from 77 countries attended.

This year the conference runs from January 23 to 25th in San Antonio, Texas. Swing by booth 3108 to learn more about our products and services. Plus, one lucky person will win a Nest Learning Thermostat, so make sure to have your business card handy!

Council Rock Announces New Hire

We are pleased to announce our newest team member: Sachin Rajathadri joins us as an RF Field Engineer.

Sachin is a recent graduate of RIT’s Electrical Engineering program. He has most recently interned as an RF Engineer with Process Control and Instrumentation LLC, where he helped plan, implement, upgrade, test and optimize the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department’s SCADA Radio Network. He brings his experience in microwave circuit design & testing and a background in Electromagnetics to our engineering organization.

Council Rock’s Newest Hire

We are pleased to announce our newest team member: Colin O’Neill has joined us as a Research and Development Engineer.

Colin is a recent graduate of RIT’s Software Engineering program. He has a wide range of programming experience including full-stack web development and developing for embedded systems. He also enjoys 3D printing and rapid prototyping.

Council Rock’s New Hires

We are pleased to announce two new team members: Joshua Milas and Cori Okada have joined us as Research and Development Engineers.

Joshua is a recent RIT graduate from the Computer Engineering program. He has hardware and software development experience with home automation and IoT products, as well as actively contributing to several open source projects.

Cori Okada is a third year RIT Electrical Engineering student working towards her BS degree with a minor in Business. She also plays women’s basketball at RIT.

Council Rock Welcomes the New VP of Programs

We are excited to announce the hiring of our newest team member: John Milota who joins us as Vice President of Programs.

John has extensive experience in the design and implementation of large, complex technology projects including smart grid programs.  He has held various leadership positions responsible for revenue, P&L, customer satisfaction, service delivery and business development with portfolios of 150+ projects.  John is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction & Contracting from Purdue University.

Council Rock Welcomes the New VP of Finance

We are excited to introduce the new member of the Council Rock family – Scot Parker who is joining us as the Vice President of Finance.

Scot has extensive experience in accounting and finance as well as diversified leadership experience in business development and human resources.  He has held management positions in various manufacturing, technology and wireless networks companies. Scot is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College.

Scot is an excellent fit to the Council Rock’s team of hard-working and broad-minded professionals directed to innovation and high growth. We are pleased to have him join us!
